Maxwell Volume

Maxwell Volume has worked in the music industry as a musician, composer, sound engineer and producer since the late 90s. He established the print and music publisher Novy Mir Productions (1998 – 2009) and the record label Tryptophonic Records (2018 – present), as well as contributing to Flamedog Records (2010 – 2016).

Musically, he has been a founding member of the following musical projects - Homeostasis (1997 – ) Alpha Omega (1998 – 2010) Arseradish (2000 – ) Tripswyche (2010 – ) Third Sky (2012 – 2015) Westwood & Volume (2017 – ) JLMXV (2018 – ) Hofmann Bender (2019 – )

He has composed music for several independent film projects, as well as an ABC-funded computer game.

He has recorded, engineered & produced the music of various international and local musicians including – Misbah (Pakistan) Daevid Allen (Gong, UK / France) Gilli Smyth (Gong, UK / France) Nik Turner (Hawkwind, UK) Kobya (Mozambique, Africa) Dinkum Bohos (Australia) Wild Zinnias (Ireland) Invisible Opera Company of Tibet (Australia / UK) Jarrah (Australia)

Besides music production, Max has produced films, websites and multimedia for various musicians and creative projects.
