Is it my imagination, or is Mœbius aka Jean Giraud having a bit of a moment? I've seen quite a few instances of people being very explicitly influenced by his art style. And not before time! Not coincidentally, we watched the first episode of Scavengers Reign tonight – an example of the above, as well as a healthy dose of Miyazakiesque fantastique. Very nice.
